I only forget to signal when I'm suicidal. So, ummm, sorry 'bout that.

On a brighter note, I use those twisted bulbs in about 4 of my 10 or so light fixtures. Some of the sockets are too small, and I just get me to put 'em above the bathroom mirror. Maybe, though. Maybe...

Actually, on the driving front, Cleveland has perhaps the friendliest roadways of any mid-to-big city in which I've driven. Not all the time, of course, but as a general rule, folks drive pretty well and fairly courteously. Weird, eh?

When people don't signal a turn, I honk at them. Always. I can't help it. It's just so rude.

I know what you're thinking. "Did he screw in all five bulbs, or only four?" To tell you the truth, in all the excitement, I don't remember myself. But since the next bulb would take you and 8,000 other rude drivers off this road, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky?"

Well, do ya, punk?

Ha ha! Sounds much like Massachusetts, land of Massholes. Where right of way is merely a suggestion.

I need to get me some of those bulbs.

p.s. I've put in 3 or 4 of those energy saver bulbs, but so recently as to have no idea about their performance.

I think you heard that deal wrong; if every man, woman, and child in America were to replace 40,000 regular light bulbs with with the curly-top ones, we'd save as much energy as one SUV consumes in an hour. Don't sound worth it to me! Otherwise, it's clear that California drivers have gone kookoo. In Texas, we're only out to kill one another. I personally never drive into the larger cities, where I hear traffic may be as relentless as what you are describing. Since I never go, I'll never know.
