Arizonans Know BS When They See It

True to form, Kari Lake is calling the results of the Arizona governor’s election “BS.” When asked in interviews during the campaign if she would accept the results of the election no matter who won, she replied “I’m going to win, and I will accept THAT result.”

She styled herself a Trumpian candidate, saying she thought the 2020 presidential election was rigged and she wouldn’t have certified it, and had she become the governor of Arizona she might have had the power to disrupt the NEXT election in Arizona, which in recent years has become a battleground state, one that could help determine who our president is.

She’s a television star, like Trump. She knows how to work the cameras and the press. She’s an expert with makeup, but she has no governing experience. She was defeated by Katie Hobbs, the AZ Secretary of State who stood up to the right wing crazies in 2020 to make sure the election there was safe and secure.

Lake will likely continue to deny her defeat in this election, but numerous election deniers across the country have lost in this midterm, and Republicans everywhere might want to reconsider their position that an election is only fair if they win. It seems the voters don’t see it quite that way.
